About the Event
Experience the meditative union of mind, body, and spirit through breath in this series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. All experience levels welcome. The practice is typically done in a heated room, but we will be enjoying this class in the morning sun. Each posture is held for a specific amount of time, usually between 10 and 60 seconds, and the entire practice takes about 90 minutes. Â
Some of the benefits of 26/2 yoga include increased flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance, as well as reduced stress and improved mental clarity. It is important to stay hydrated before, during, and after the practice, and to listen to your body and modify or rest as needed.
