Sounds of Freedom Music Festival


Celebrate our nation at the Sounds of Freedom Music Festival at the amphitheater at Barker Park on Wednesday, June 29th from 6:30pm – 9:30pm.  Admission is FREE.  Come enjoy a variety of bands and entertainers and great food.  Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and kick off our week of Cherry Days activities at the Music Festival.

Bella Woods

"Bella Woods is a 19 year old, Salt Lake City based, solo singer-songwriter who's music can be defined as indie-folk with influences from various other genres. She is has been writing music for around 4 years, and has began recording and releasing her songs. She has also found a place in the SLC music scene, playing acoustic solo shows alongside other local bands and artists."



Eliza Corbin

I'm Eliza! I love to be outdoors hiking, biking, running, going for a walk and I am very passionate about music. Music has been an outlet for me to express my feelings about religion, some of my other favorite things, and also things I wish for/dream about.


Tyler Mark

Tyler Mark is a Singer/Songwriter from Provo Utah. He is passionate about music composition and lyricism, which has continued to motivate him since his early life. Music connects people to each other, and Tyler's desire to build those connections and unite the others has inspired over forty songs that he's written. After 4 years of singing and songwriting, he's currently producing and performing live. His music can be found on all music streaming services, and you can follow his performance and production progress on any social media platforms.


Jacob Sorenson

Jacob is a Singer-Songwriter based in North Ogden. Jake doesn’t play any instruments but loves to create new sounds and beats through music software. Partnering with local producers Brandon Beals, Steve Phillips, Michael Van Wagoner, and Garion Wells, Jacob’s music is inspired by all genres and all artists and cover a wide variety of lyrical topics. Jacob enjoys writing new songs with his wife, skiing, fishing, Golfing, and spending time outdoors.


Bethany Sorenson

Bethany is a singer-songwriter based in North Ogden. She has been playing piano since junior high and began writing her own songs to sing in high school. What started as a way to fight boredom in math class turned into the passion for songwriting she has today. Bethany released her first album in November 2021 titled “Grow” and an EP in 2017 titled “Fly Away”. Bethany loves writing music that tells stories others can relate to. She often writes commissioned songs for others which become fully recorded releases.


Kila Mateah

The West Point, Utah native finds inspiration for her music through the many adventures of her life. From the windy plains of Idaho, to the hoof touched beaches of Hawaii, she has seen it all. She finds the most joy in capturing the moments and putting them to song to share with all who will listen. Alongside Craig Miner, of Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, she produced her first Solo EP titled "Big Big World" in 2018. Two years later she teamed up again to produce a single titled "Someday The Stars". She continues to write, and play music wherever she can. She looks forward to producing more music to share.

Sky Olson

After releasing his album to rave reviews and over 200,000 streams on Spotify, Sky Olson has been playing headlining shows with his band at popular music venues such as Kilby Court in SLC, Velour in Provo, and Riverside in Boise. A two-time winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and a Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, Sky’s music has been resonating with people across the globe.
